Spider-Man and Captain America: Civil War

So I was thinking a lot about Spidey and Cap and I thought of something. Since we’re not seeing Spider-Man’s origin again, will we be as attached and invested into this new Peter Parker? Even though we all know the story about Peter and his uncle, we’re most likely not going to see him crying over Uncle Ben’s death, and all the regret and self hatred that came with it. So I thought about how Steve Rogers is apparently going to die in Captain America 3 and I got an idea. What if Captain America’s death is related to Peter Parker? Maybe Cap dies trying to save a civilian, and that civilian is none other than Peter Parker himself. Peter could feel guilty over this because maybe he didn’t need the saving. Maybe Peter is Spider-Man at this point, and if only Captain America didn’t try to save him, he’d be alive. This death would hang over Spider-Man’s head along with Ben’s. He would feel more obligated to join the Avengers and try to replace the good that Captain America brought the world. It’s a guilt that could add so much more to his character and help blend the transition of Spider-Man into the MCU. It’s a connection that could make Peter Parker one of the most interesting characters. This was just a thought I had and who knows what’s going to happen but I think this would be a cool way to go.
